Summer Holiday Fun Days at GSoG!

Wednesdays: 30 July, 6 August, 13 Augst and 27 August 1000-1500 £10 per child Places are strictly limited, so please book and pay in advance to secure a place and avoid disappointment. Please remember to send your child with drinks and a packed lunch. Suitable clothing must be worn, please - no jeans allowed!

Congratulations to all the girls who competed at the GM Open in Wigan 14-15 May 2014!

Amazing results for all our gymnasts! In the the Novice Aged 10 years competition, Abbie won gold on beam and also took the gold all-around medal; Emma took the silver medal on beam and Siobhan took the bronze on vault. In the Novice Aged 11 years competition, Caitlyn won a joint silver on bars. Well done, girls! In the Espoirs competition, Teri won two silver medals (vault and beam) and took the all-around bronze medal in a very tough field (some of those girls are on the GB team!) - what an outstanding competition! Congratulations to Teri Williams, and the other members of the NW Grade 6 team, who took the team gold in Birmingham on 17-18 May 2014.

Congratulations to Rebecca Brierly, who won an individual gold medal in the elite category at the Preston Schools Gymanstics competition in May 2014. Rebecca's team (Ashton Community Science College) took the gold as well.

Well done to all the girls who competed at NW Regional Grades on Saturday, 5 April and to Teri, who competed National level 6 on Sunday, 6 April in Wigan!

* Teri is an alternate on the NW Level 6 team to compete at nationals in Birmingham later this year. * Daisy's Lancashire Grade 14 team finshed in 3rd place. * Abbie finished 2nd individually and Chloe 4th individually - and the Lancashire grade 12 teams and the team itself came in 1st place! * Eleanor's Lancashire Grade 10 team finsihed in 3rd place.
