Fundraising Appeal Update
As a result of the fund raising appeal made at the Club's Annual Gymnastics Display, several offers of support have been received. These include some generous financial donations, funding pledges pending a successful grant application, 'In kind' donations and some useful building contractor leads which are still being followed up. The funding application to Sport England has been submitted and we should receive feedback in July. In the mean time, please consider joining the new 'Jump 4 Gym' Club Lottery which, thanks to Garstang Cricket Club, provides you with a chance to win a £600 monthly prize. Application forms are available from the Gym office. Joining the lottery will generate much needed additional funds for the expansion project and will demonstrate support from parents and the community on an on going basis to our potential funding providers. Please do join it. Thanks for your support.

NEW! - Marathon runner to raise funds for GSOG!
Sarah Hamilton's aunt (great aunt of Callum, Trinity, Angel and Corey) is going to run a Marathon on 27 May 2012 to raise funds in support of GSoG! Please see the notice board in the gym for details of how to sponsor her.
NEW! - Charity Market Stall in Garstang on 26th May 2012
Please see the notice in the gym regarding where to drop items for donation (no electrical goods and no clothing, please). Volunteers are needed to staff the stall from 07:45 to 15:45 on the day.
DVD's of the 2012 Display are on sale now £10 - see Fiona in the office.
Jump4Gym - Garstang School of Gymnastics Monthly Lottery!
In conjunction with "Hit4Six" Garstang Cricket Club's Monthly Lottery Sponsored by Barton Grange Garden Centre. All numbers sold through GSoG will have the chance every month to win 1st prize = £600, 2nd prize = £50, 3rd prize = £25 PLUS 50% of all income generated by numbers sold via the gym will be donated to the gym's fundraising account each month. To join now, please ask for a form at the office or download one from out website: The computer draw will be made on the 2nd Saturday of each month - winning numbers can be viewed on the www.intheteam.com/garstangcc lottery page and will be displayed on the gym notice board and website. Sainsbury's Active Kids Vouchers
Anyone shopping at Sainsburys can collect the Active Kids 2012 vouchers and hand them in at the gym. With the vouchers we collect, we can then exchange them for equipment for the club. Please note that this is not "BIG" equipment, but maybe small mats or handheld equipment such as hoops, beanbags, etc. which will help with our recreational and special olympics classes as well as parties. All of these are much needed and will save us having to dip in our pot of money....that we hope to use for a building expansion!
Next Bags4Schools Collection - 16 June 2012
Plenty of time for you all to clear out your cupboards and send your unwated clothing, linens (no duvets or pillows, please), etc. to us to raise funds for the club. The last collection raised £240 - so this is easy, and very worthwhile!
Printer/Ink Cartridge Reclycling Scheme - ongoing!
There is a carton at the gym entrance foyer for recycling priner ink cartridges. Please check the notice printed on the box, as some are not accepted - and if we put those in we actually get charged for them instead of receiving money.
